Sherborne, Parkstone and Lytchett men and ladies faced off in a round robin match to decide the Dorset Superleague Knock Out Cup
The results were as follows:
Sally, Peri and Lisa of Sherborne Ladies took the first game 2-1 v Lytchett then did the same against Parkstone. Peri Yarrow and Sally Old winning both points, while Lytchett Julie, Trina and Lisa beat the ladies of Parkstone - Carol, Donna and Hayley 2-1 to finish in second place.
Sherborne's team of Matt, Nigel, Matt, Gordon and Terry edged out Lytchett 3-2. Lytchett's Ben, Mark, John, Spencer and Steve went on to beat Parkstone 4-1 with Jason James the only winner for the losing side.
Sherborne needed to beat Parkstone in the last game. A 3-2 win saw them claim the title Nigel Lamb, Matt Yarrow and Gordon Fitzpatrick winning against Colin Littlecott, Marc Bayliss and Jason. The 2 points from Parkstone were Dan and Lawrence. With fifteen games on show not one of the mens game went to a deciding last leg.
